12626/12625 Kerala Exp urgently needs an extra rake.Daily train service with six rakes.12625 Kerala Exp arrives New Delhi at 13:40 if on time.Trains scheduled departure from New Delhi as 12626 at 20:10.If 12625 arrives Delhi by 2-3 hours late due to less turnaround time 12626 daily getting rescheduled.Either 12625 Kerala Exp needs a reschedule from Trivandrum in a way that it reaches Delhi by morning .Otherwise urgently needs an extra rake to be provided for on time departure
Agree, once upon a time Kerala Exp was a prestigious train with excellent priority, rail fans used to call it as King of overtakes, longest superfast train..but its no more the same now. Rescheduling daily, running delayed by hours, too many stops, even in AP and TS this train is not getting much priority these days.
We people in the North predicted this long back that is will gonna happen soon!
People in South were rejoicing that Kerala Express has been sent to evening "high priority/high speed" slot. But we knew this train won't be able to matchup timings because of Less TAT.
Previous Time of Departure of Kerala Express Morning 11:30 was the best. Now there are no trains in this slot, morning schedule of departure of trains for South is very poor now, all trains have been shifted either in evening slot or early morning...

I don't understand what's wrong with People living in far states from Delhi, and why they always demanding for evening or late night slots of departure and early morning arrival?
It's is not at all possible to cater all trains are same time.
Also, when you have a journey to be completed in 18-24-36 hours why to bother about the time...

Totally agree with you.This situation could have been avoided if 12625 Kerala Exp from Trivandrum too would have been rescheduled in a way that it reaches New Delhi by morning at least TAT would have been more.Dont know why only the timings of 12626 Kerala Exp was rescheduled without doing any changes in timings of 12625 Kerala Exp
It would have been more worse, because morning slots are already too much occupied and rushed up with so many trains.
