According to the CR notice, the speed limit from Igatpuri to Sevagram has been approved for 130 kmph. This means that the entire stretch from Igatpuri to Nagpur can now go up to 130 kmph.

However, it's not possible to go at 130 kmph from CSMT to Igatpuri because there are Thull Ghats in the middle.

CSMT se Igatpuri ke liye 130 possible nahi hai kyunki beech mein Thull Ghats hai.

Yo, why the hell can't they upgrade those tracks all the way to the ghats? Like, come on, we can see the TT change on the Mumbai Nagpur route, right?

Mumbai Kalyan is a suburban area that falls under MRVC, and the train tracks here are very close together, making it difficult to increase the speed. Additionally, there are limitations on available land.

Kalyan Kasara is a route with lots of curves, so trains can only go up to 105 kmph in this section. A third line is planned to be built here to increase capacity.

Now that the route from Igatpuri to Nagpur has been upgraded, we can expect the premium trains to speed up soon.
