10% hike in base fare won't work in long term.
As IR claims they recover 60% in SL and 50% in GS they should fix SL base fare 30% more and GS 50% more to sustain in future and keep trains rolling out.
IR should merge different types of trains into one category be it LHB vande Sadharan or Antyodaya and most importantly ru as daily train so that people will move to those trains and not overcrowd existing trains in AC coaches.
