Return: /train/210731/1009/12282 I'm presenting an idea to combine all the trains that start from Nagercoil/Trivandrum and run in the Balaji slot from Guntakal to Mumbai CSMT. We would have one daily train from Kochuveli to Mumbai CSMT, which would be rerouted via Tiruvannamalai and Madanapalle (only 4 days a week). The advantages of this plan are that it would provide a daily train for people from other areas in the Nagercoil district, like Kuzhithurai, Nagercoil, Tirunelveli, Madurai, Trichy, Ariyalur, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Chittoor, Madanapalle, and Kadiri, to Pune and Mumbai (and vice versa). It would also create a new daily connection from Trivandrum to the Tiruvannamalai and Madanapalle regions. Plus, it would be a better option for the Jayanti Janatha train, with convenient timings for trips to Mantralayam, Raichur, Solapur, and Pune. So, this single train would offer a bunch of connections, ya know? It would be around 3.5 hours slower than the monsoon train's TT of the Nethravathi Express. That's why we're starting it from Kochuveli. Since the distance would be over 2000 kms, we've completely revamped the return slot and created a timetable to allow for secondary maintenance time on the Mumbai side. We'd need 4 sets of trains, PM at KCVL and SM at MZN.
