hi all..i want to know when a loco enters station and platform there will be a sound like "chug chug" from the engine..isit applying brake or pressing any button by LP?

ya acceleration based on the signals, sign boards and slowing down for the same-track change is done by the track controller who checks the empty tracks and let it pass

YES..watever IR does would be unique in terms of design quality body coach is superb
I have heard these WDMs chugging slowly when slowing down or speeding up. When the train is at full speed then the chugging is also very fast. I have heard these sounds from the toilet of my train, while I was traveling by ASR-HWH Mail. Our 2nd AC Coach was 5th or 6th from the loco and it was a deemer between SRE & MGS. It was 2008 :-D
