You need to have contact with commercial department of your zone to get this. For a detailed overview including deboarding data, it's better to file a RTI.
For Ranchi, Purulia it's a long route, meaning more time consuming and more fare. So chance of good weekday occupancy is low.
For Tatanagar, it's a very good train. Fate of this VB is completely on it.

Looks like a similar pattern to MyS-MAS VB. From Mys train is relatively less occupied . It gets completely full at Bangalore. Similarly from MAS till Mys almost 90% of passengers deboard at Bangalore.
End to end passengers are less, intermediate passengers more. Because of this overall occupancy ends up on higher side as same seat may have booking for 2 passengers. With festive season coming up and vacations as well, likely to see more passengers in coming days

Was Kotshila more of a political halt ? Any significance or reason for having halt at tis place. Recently even DHN-Allp was also given a permanent halt at this place
