Hi, I have a Question. 11006 is taking 25 mins to cover PDY to VM, where as 11005 is taking 1hr 25m for the same stretch. I could not understand this. Why is this difference? When checked for other train timings passer train with 3 halts is covering this stretch at 45 mins. I also feel 25mins is also not practical and 1hr 25min is too much. May someone clarify why TT timings are given like this. In fact in the reverse direction VM-PDY none of the SF cover this distance faster than passenger train. Is it to allow some buffer in TT?

this is known as slack time. in case the train is delayed it will make up and reach its destination on time. all the trains are provided slack to make up for delayed time.
