I've got this idea for a daily overnight train from Tirunelveli to Tirupati, going through Madurai, Dindigul (for Palani/Kodaikanal), Trichy to Thiruvannamalai (Arunachalam), Vellore, Chittoor, and Tirupati. There are always a ton of people going to Tirupati from the southern parts of Tamil Nadu, plus tourists who also visit Madurai and Kanyakumari would benefit. So, no doubt this train would be packed. We already have the 16779/16780 Tirupati-Rameswaram triweekly express train, which has a crazy number of passengers, so adding another train like this would definitely make sense. Since there's available space in the Tirunelveli pitlines in the morning slot, this train can be linked with the 17249/50 TPTY COA TPTY train as a potential partner. And we can do maintenance in Tirunelveli with 4 rakes, which would free up a day slot in the Tirupati pitline as well.
