There is a demand for a direct train between Dhanbad and New Delhi for more than a decade. But they say that there is a pressure of more than 300+ trains on track. So new train cannot be introduced between DHN - NDLS. On the other hand, ECR introduces festival special train between Gaya - ANVT on the same TT which was not approved by the ministry.

No train for Bengaluru is there in the whole Dhanbad Division. On the other hand, ECR runs 5 special train from Danapur despite having 3 regular trains. They are happily choosing a route which is 500+ long but cannot go via GAYA-DHN.

Dhanbad is totally dependent on 13351/52 for going to Southern region. 03357/58 DHN-CBE special was introduced but later on was extended to Bihar (Barauni).

Dhanbad Chandrapura Memu which was closed 6 years back is still closed. Despite demand for passengers, even after numerous memorandum handed to DRM, nothing happened.

Passengers & representatives of Dhanbad are continuously demanding trains and are continuously ignored.
