Riding on Amb Andaura VB till Umb today to visit YNR . To my surprise , the trainset has been replaced with VB 1.0 , VB 2.0 has been swapped with Katra VB .
Train is nice and clean but platform was stinking , itтАЩs ok though !
Departing right time from Delhi ! Full occupancy !

Paschim destroyed, Himalayan Queen terminated permanently and Shan E Punjab has been reduced to a regular express after introduction of stoppages like Sonipat, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Rajpura, Khanna, Phagwara.
It was premium category when it was introduced with only 5 stoppages Panipat, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Beas, those days it's NDLS departure used to be 6.55 AM and ASR arrival 13.55 PM. 7 Hrs from NDLS on 110 MPS, now 7.35 Hours on 130 MPS.

I travelled on 8th Nov. I'll be honest VB 2.0 is way comfortable. The train was shaking a lot. It wasn't a comfortable journey at all. VB 2.0 is way comfortable in my opinion. Anyways would this change from VB 2.0 to VB 1.0 permanent? I hope Amb Andaura gets its original VB back. Any dates when would the original VB 2.0 would return?
Rakes will be under rotation from Delhi with other VBs. So sometimes you will get old and sometimes new rake and may be spare rake.
IMO, it should be given to short route VB train..

From what I have seen NDLS-BSB VB is running with VB 1.0 rake. NDLS -SVDK VB is also running with VB 1.0 rake (as of nov and now NDLS - AADR is also running with VB 1.0 rake. How is this possible because we had only 2 rakes of VB 1.0 rake in total? Also a quick question, AADR VB has coaches from 2018 (when I travelled on 8th Nov) whereas BSB VB and SVDK VB has coaches from 2019 (I have cross checked it twice now). How is this possible since only 2 rakes have been manufactured for 1.0 version.
