You say no demand, I checked the WL in this site and it says 12 for Dec 1 from Ajmer to Chennai ! Moreover this train runs after Chennai too and this is one of BJP's pet project for connecting Rameshwaram, so you are not supposed to find fault :)
Same quota for firozpur to ajmer section...whole combined stations bookings are being shown there. Plus there is festive season. Jaipur is the main contribution here, before extending it used to run empty in festive seasons too.
But I am personally disappointed that Holy Place Rameswaram is still not connect with National Capital Of India New Delhi & careless Central Govt is not doing anything in this direction
After New Pamban Bridge is Commissioned It will be Extended Soon Till Then Originating / Termination will be at Mandapam
