Samatha Express runs for 5 days a week and Chattisgarh Daily Gondwana Express runs for 5 days too. These are the main trains here apart from three Rajdhani Express which run twice a week, and some weekly trains. So, effectively we have 4 pairs or 8 trains that change locomotives every day. As NGP is a big junction, they have separate locomotives for the New Delhi side and the Raipur side, without causing any trouble for other trains. They can leave within 10-15 minutes, just like in Vijayawada. So, there's not much of a problem. Rajdhani and Gondwana are the most important trains for Nagpur and the passengers, so they shouldn't be disturbed. I don't know much about the connectivity of the bypass line station, if there is any.
