Goa is a pathetic tourist state in terms of local transport. This is because of the local cab operators' lobby, supported by a government that does nothing.

The rates are excessively high because cabs picking up passengers from the railway station only offer drop-offs. They return to the station empty. Tourist taxis picking up from beaches and dropping off at the station also return empty.

Passengers pay for these empty return journeys, increasing rates and amounting to exploitation.

The government must act to help the people instead of supporting these unfair practices. They have utterly failed to provide basic facilities at a fair price.

Goa ka tourist state hone ke naam pe sirf naam hai, yahan local transport bilkul ghatiya hai. Yeh sab local cab operators ki lobby ki wajah se hai, jisko government ka pura saath hai, aur woh kuchh karti hi nahin.

Fares bahut zyada hai kyunki station se jo cabs passengers ko le jaati hain, woh sirf ek taraf jaati hain, phir khali vapas station aati hain. Dusri taraf, beach se station jane wali tourist taxis bhi khali vapas jaati hain.

Aakhir mein, passengers ko is khali journey ka bhi paisa dena padta hai, jisse fares badh jaate hain aur yeh pura loot hai.

Waqt aa gaya hai ki government logon ke liye kuchh kare, in unfair practices ko support karne ki bajaye. Unhone basic facilities bhi sahi daam pe dene mein bilkul fail kiya hai.
