By re-routing to Perambur, an additional option from east towards Chennai. But I guess connection to Katpadi (Vellore ) is lost. The main purpose of these two trains was connectivity to Vellore. Also I think some correction on time might be there. Train reaches TEN on Wednesday 3:00am. Dep from TEN is also on Wed at 3am. The next dep from TEN is on Sat. So does it mean train arriving on Wed will only depart on Sat ( more than 48 hrs at TEN) ???
