I think there is no point of reservation of 2S . Because no passenger will get reserved seat in a general coach. Rather there will be first come first seat pattern of seating capacity of both 2S & Unreserved tickets in general coach.
In this type of train, 2S is just a process of looting more fare charges by IRCTC. Because As reservation of 2S, pax should get confirmed seat of sitting arrangement. But they (IRCTC) are not giving the confirmation of sitting birth and consequently it works like first come first serve. More promptly, if the 2S coach is full crowded, the Reserved passenger doesn't entitle to seat anywhere and has to complete his full journey in standing though he has reserved a 2S birth.
