Why cant Vellore cantt or Katpadi Jn can be developed as a terminal by constructing pit lines and make some North east and bihar bound traind orginate from here by instead of chennai central by passing trains through perambur ?.
Katpadi is famous for Vellore Cmc ,Vit university and Sripuram . Many patients come here for treatment and many of them reaches to Chennai and then reach Vellore through conecting trains and buses. Instead of that katpadi can be made as terminal.
