Though it was quite a good Superfast in the yesteryear when it used to travel upto Patna, but the extension upto Islampur spoiled it completely. Now the average arrival status of this train is at a delay of almost 5 hours.
Magadh Express follows the Islampur- Hilsa- Fatwa- Patna Saheb- Rajendra Nagar Bihar- Patna- Danapur- Ara- Buxar- Mughal Sarai- Mirzapur- Allahabad- Kanpur- Tundla- Aligarh- New Delhi route of ECR/ NCR/ NR to cover 1064 kms in 19h 35m with 25 halts enroute.
