LKO-BE-MB route ko bhul gayi hai IR. The whole GZB-MB-LKO-SLN-BSB route which DBG Rajdhani could have been a great alternative route for East bound trains but IR ko dikhta hi nahi hai ye. MB-ROZA also needs triple tracks atleast. IR to apne sabse imp route pe bhi tripling/quadrupling ki nahi soch raha hai kya hi bole. PCOI-DDU section is in dire need of extra tracks, itne trains hain is section me but absolutely no one cares.
Exactly,,, not only LKO MB but LKO to BSB all 3 routes are very far behind in terms of speed, on the other hand NER LJN to GKP is making little bit of progress but NR doesn't care at all. Trains like Bihar Sampark kranti, Gorakhdham and GKP Humsafar should be made to run via LKO MB instead of CNB plus these trains have no halt between CNB and NDLS so it would make much difference, unnecessarily they are occupying prime slots in CNB section in the name of 130 MPS
GZB-MB-LKO-BSB NR section and LKO-GKP-CPR NER section both should have been upgraded to 130 MPS till now. Don't know why they aren't interested in the same considering the amount of SF trains with minimal stops plying on this route. The NR section even has a Rajdhani to show on its route but still no significant work is seen for speed upgradation. Most of the trains going to upper gangetic plain region could have used this route, freeing up space on NDLS-CNB-PRYJ-DDU section.
