while booking ticket, IRCTC should now give an option to choose coaches & berths in general quota, after blocking the quota berths (like lower berth quota and ladies quota & others). online users are actually paying a premium currently, viz, irctc & bank charges.
Bank charges are levied from bank side and IRCTC/IR doesn't have much role to play in that i feel...
i mean to say, that irctc should allow a user to view & reserve berth/seat of his choice after blocking various quota seats.
you are right. Sometimes we wont get much option what a PRS clerk is having though we pay IRCTC charges...
