It is suggested that a bypass line be built before Mysuru Jn for trains arriving from Bengaluru, and another before Hassan Jn for trains arriving from Mysuru and heading towards Mangalore. This will reduce time and loco reversals.
How many trains are running to build a bypass? The line Benguluru Mangalore connection needs city terminal for convenient boarding and deboarding as it's used even for Benguluru Mysore passengers in evening.
