Agree
They need to make Uday run via Hosur and Dharmapuri

Uday should leave CBE at 06:00 AM , to arrive SA at 08:20 AM and dep SA at 08:25 to reach Dharmapuri at 09:30 AM and Hosur at 11:00 AM and to arrive SBC at 12:30 PM (06 hr 30 minutes) - they should conduct trial and facilitate this . Stoppages are CBE, TUP, ED, SA, Dharmapuri, Hosur, Karmelaram, BNC, SBC - with standing time at SBC for 1 hour before it starts its journey
...

whereas Vande Bharat should leave CBE at 08:05 AM and arrive SA at 10:10 AM and arrive tirupattur at 11:10 AM and arrive bangarpet at 12:05 PM and arrive BNC at 13:00 PM (04 hr 55 minutes) - cause this is high speed section
Stoppages should be CBE, TUP, ED, SA, Tirupattur, kuppam, Bangarpet, BNC ; with standing time at BNC for 3 hours before it could start its journey

Return should be as follows:

Uday should leave SBC at 13:00 to arrive Hosur at 14:15 PM , Dharmapuri at 15:45 PM , Salem at 17:00 PM and to arrive CBE 19:40 PM (6 hour 40 minutes) with same stoppage mentioned above

Vande Bharat should leave BNC at 16:00 PM, to arrive Bangarpet at 16:50 PM to arrive tirupattur at 17:50 PM and Salem at 18:55 PM with further stops at ED and tup to arrive CBE at 21:00 PM (5 hours travel time) with same stoppage mentioned above

Whichever extension happens, not sure if it will really benefit given the odd time of arrival & departure from these stations if at all it is extended.

If they are going to extend, timing will and should be changed and there is no need to worry about PM

They will make it in such a way it arrives CBE at 07:30 or 08:00 am and return wil reach at 21:00 to reach destination maybe at 23:00 or 23:30 pm

Cheran and TVM mail have RSA to avoid PM at Chennai for mail. At Coimbatore there is not much load during daytime except cheran and few night trains.

I guess anticipating the extension to PGT, suddenly some passenger associations have demanded extension to Palani. Now it purely depends upon SR HQ and SA and MDU division if at all they find it feasible. From new place connectivity point of view it will make for good publicity , but to really have some good patronage timing needs to change.
The current occupancy figures for MAQ-Madgaon VB and CBE-SBC VB dont seem to show good occupancy at all. I am sure railways might be monitoring this. Train I guess is virtually running empty
