Train number Mumbai LTT-Coimbatore-Mumbai LTT Express, scheduled to operate from December 8, 2023, to February 8, 2024, will follow a modified route, running via Salem Jn, Jolarpettai Jn, Renigunta Jn, and Guntakal Jn. During this period, it will skip scheduled stops at Dharmapuri, Hosur, Bengaluru Cantt., KSR Bengaluru City Jn, Gauribidanur, Hindupur, Sathya Sai Prashanti Nilayam, Dharmavaram Jn, and Anantapur railway stations.
This diversion has prompted a suggestion to convey the information from the Dharmavaram area to Penukonda, advising passengers to proceed towards KSR Bengaluru via Yesvantpur A Cacin to Banaswadi. Alternatively, the train can take the older route through Hosur or be rerouted via Krishnarajapuram, briefly touching Bengaluru. Afterward, it can proceed to Jolarpettai via the bypass line.
