With extension of Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod VB(orange) up to Mangaluru, a spare rake of VB will be freed up and I believe, there are maximum possibilities that the spare rake might be utilised for introduction of new VB for Kerala region.
Note: Few days before CBE MLA requested revision in TT for CBE-BNC VB and introduction of new VB between Thiruvananthapuram and Coimbatore.
First one done, what do you think about second one?

Most likely plan is for CBE-TVC. After 16526 SBC-CAPE, which is at 3am, the next train from CBE to TVC is Sabari express is at 8am. There are few weekly, bi weekly service in between. Most likely the plan is to have it at some time in between. The old TT slot of Kerala express is free. Maybe that can be looked at. But here also the success of VB will purely depend upon the crowd boarding from CBE, PGT & OTP ( if stop is provided). From TCR onwards there is already Jan Shatabdi, VB and lots of other options towards TVC on daily basis.
