proof that it has only 2 platforms. first platform is on the other side, which is a loop line from the down line towards villupuram. this platform - 2 is on the up main line towards chengalpattu. one more platform like construction is there near the down main line towards villupuram, but its length and height both are small (would not even come to 18 coaches) and most trains having a halt there doesnt stop at that platform. they rather gets looped into pf 1.
