In my opinion, the eastern zones (esp NFR, SER, ECoR) need to really improve in terms of maintenance. Better maintained zones are SCR, WR, SWR, SR.

Agree.. even ICF coaches are well maintained in the SR, WR.

SRC's maintenance is notorious. A premium train is fitted with an old coach which isn't maintenened as well.
This is my experience from last 14-15 years travelling in this route.

A passenger train had detailed just leaving kotavalasa junction. 2 coaches and the loco seems to have snapped out of the track. No injuries or fatalities. 12703 was stuck at VZM for over an hour. 12245 reached VZM 25mins before and left at 10:20 before 12703. After kantakapalle there's a speedy restriction in place due to the derailment.. we however have crossed the site and moving as usual towards BZA
