Jhajjar is a DHQ in Haryana and a historical city who found mention in 1857 Independence war.
The extension campus of All India Institute of Medical Sciences is established there as well recently. Though 2 railway lines already pass though District ,HQ City Jhajjar was not connected by rail.

It was a long fight for people who even make "Rail Lao Sangharsh Samiti" which has to work for about 10 Years.

In last Haryana Govt. share 50% cost and line was buily between ROhtak-REWARI (RE is going to get 5 Lines JN. Now)
Jhajjar almost lines midway On This line.
