In Chennai Central railway station, how do they reverse loco for a train? Aren't the platforms dead ends ?

I guess now the platform of PER is little big so DBRG-YPR goes via that route rather than touching MAS
Yes-its bit extended now-but if you come by trains like mail you get a feeling its quite dark on extended side
Yes it is very dark in the end and that too DBRG YPR Comes at 4.20 AM very scary that time
jf train reaches mas loco change and new addition at reverse is must
