The concept is to connect small towns and cities with big industrial, commercial and religious cities as there are very few trains on that route. It's not about connecting A directly to Z but about A to B to C to D and so on.

Evident that it is for intermediate connectivity. But if you specify the stretch it will be useful for my understanding.. 😅

So Kanpur is an industrial and commercial city, Chitrakoot is religious tourism city, Singrauli,Obra, Renukut are industrial cities and Ranchi being the state capital. So if someone Ranchi to Katni wants to visit Chitrakoot then this train is for them, same as people of Hamirpur, Banda and Chitrakoot wanting to travel to Singrauli to Ranchi can use this train.

There are many direct trains in between Ranchi and Kanpur but this train also provides connectivity in between Bundelkhand and Baghelkhand.
