Do u have figures to back ur theory
There are only 15-16 platforms in Sealdah and very few local trains
Howrah has 23 platforms and plans are there to build 15 more by 2016
Innumerable local trains depart and arrive in HWH

has the upper hand also because it is the only terminal station in Kolkata area for South Eastern Zone trains.
HWH also has the honour of having Headquarters of both ER and SER. No other station in India has this honour
Mumbai heads two zones, but Central Zone has HQ in CSTM and Western Zone has HQ in BCT
