LOOT by Central government and RB is continuing in the name of SPECIAL TRAIN.

1) Special/on Demand Trains are run on SPECIAL DEMAND only, but the Staff required for it needs to be kept on permanent payroll plus the Rolling stock has to exist always but will only run in Festive seasons. So, utilization of these resources would be less & hence it is justified to charge more for TOD Trains.
2) The Special Fare Trains help recover the costs of Normal Trains too as Normal Fare cannot be increased Several times due to political pressure.

In Ashwini Vaishnaw rule since 2022 only Vande Bharat is prioritised. 3E coach came out in 2021 , everyone thought it's new version of Garib Rath coaches but who knew that every train has to donate 2 sleeper/general for 2 3E coaches in every train. Overcrowding has really became a concerning issue even some top People like IAS,IPS , Social media influencers who travel by Trains are also posting on Social media. 50-60 year old legendary trains are extended instead of new trains. In my opinion Railway should focus on crowd management first in regular trains then only Vande Bharat can come . All premium trains are with red LHB coach even GR also , no uniqueness among Rajdhani,Duronto, Garib Rath etc . Railway should bring new livery for premium trains, manage crowd
