In these modern times, when technology, speed, 'passenger safety' etc have taken a lot of importance, the meter gauge/narrow gauge is now almost dead buried with less than a fraction of length, to that of BG is left still operating.
Specially for all budding railfans across the length-breadth of this country, we would definitely be emotionally attached to this and would really love to see this to be in function.
Don't you guys think IR should make some provisions for conserving meter/narrow gauge, I understand that it might be tough for them, but...

Thahs the issue Manoj.Like us buddying railfans, the meter gauge has that emotional value which is slowly getting extinct.I hope we get a Manister plus a CRB who can help in this, I know I'm asking for too much, but as I said, if we are making profits and we have that surplus money, why not make it useable towards this aspect.
