It is a preventative measure against track wear, which has resulted in three to four derailment incidents annually on NER. The RGM can repair track defects within a 20 kilometer stretch in an hour, minimizing the need for major traffic blocks. This technology, initially deployed on the Konkan Railway, is now being implemented in NER and NCR, with the machine already arriving at the NCR headquarters in Prayagraj.

Is machine ko use karne ka main reason hai tracks ka ghisna, jiske wajah se NER par har saal 3-4 derailments ho jaate hain. RGM 1 ghante mein 20 kilometer tak ki track ki problem fix kar sakti hai, jisse major traffic blocks ki zarurat nahi padegi. Ye machine pehle Konkan Railway mein use ki gayi thi aur ab NER aur NCR mein use ki jaane wali hai. NCR headquarters Prayagraj mein machine pahunch chuki hai aur jaldi hi use karne ki permission milne ki ummid hai.
