The train used to go fast before skipping CBE - It would leave at 7:30 PM and reach TVC at 11:15 AM. On the way back, it would leave on time at 2:30 PM; Later on, the TVC division slowed down a bunch of trains by 30 minutes, including this train, which started going through CBE again, so its timing changed to 7:45 PM and arrival at 11:45 AM; Now they are just going back to the old timetable when it was on a single track. The train should definitely speed up after Angamali. It's quick from MAS to TCR like you said. The train runs like a cat from Kalady to TVC.
