I have booked 2273 Duronto Exp on 25 Oct, which is scheduled to reach New Delhi on 26 Oct 6:05 AM. I want to catch another connecting train 2011 Kalka Shatabdi which is scheduled to depart New Delhi station from 7:40 AM. Will that be too risk, I mean does Duronto make late?

Welcome Nilay sir. That is why I said prepaid taxi. Even Prepaid autos are there. I thought you are going with your family on the vacations so definitely you are carrying lugage. so I suggested prepaid taxi. don't worry it wont take that much time. it is not that much far.

Then I would suggest to MR. Nilay, If he will reach there( new delhi) well in time then all the options are open he can choose any. either metro or Taxi.
