It's like, it keeps looping man. Going from Salem to Madurai, there are these express trains that indirectly swing by, even offering overnight stays. Although there ain't no one train directly going from Madurai to Coimbatore via Salem, you still can hop through with different trains along the way. People need rides for sure, but it's gonna eat up more cash 'cause ain't nothing gonna change with the fare even with all the changes in the economy. Instead of sweating over a brand-new train, it's much simpler to catch the existing MEMU train from Salem to KRR or TPJ, then switch for Madurai. Just throw in some more coaches to the current MEMU and it'll work out better than all the fuss of introducing a whole new train with crew and whatnot.
