Throwback: Kalka Mail (with GZB WAM4) and Danapur Express (with ASN WAM2) simultaneously arrived at Howrah Jn in one of those exciting mornings of the early 90s! These two very likely had a fierce parallel run between Asansol and Barddhaman. In Howrah trip shed, the GZB loco was referred to as the “foreign loco” - distinctive of its non-ER livery and a very important payload!
