Route and slot seems good for extension to Indore via guna. That's why asking. I believe you are plotting time table in such a way that in return it will be having morning arrival at ayodhya.

No issues. Let it have similar halt pattern post gwalior as well. Connectivity will be ensured right even if it is fast or slow, and timings seems to be pretty good at both ends. At present only 1 weekly train is present between Indore to ayodhya, that too passing by. Even lucknow has lesser trains. You can make it like ayodhya - Indore or gorakhpur to Indore.
