Now Indian Railway start Looting Common Man.
I booked Three Ticket in Ranchi Rajdhani, Out of 3 only one ticket confirm and Rest all are WL even After Chart prepare.
I dint got Berth In train, Railway denied the refund amt for WL ticket. How This Nonsense.
When I spoke to Customer Care, He simply Reply, Do read T&C before booking any...

The rules says: If any of the passenger status at chart preperation remains in W/L and if one or more persons on the same PNR gets confirmed, all persons are eligible to travel however, you need to inform the TTE at the earliest while boarding the train. If the passenger doesn't wants to travel, they should obtain No Journey/Non Travel Certificate from the TTE and submit the same for getting refunds. This rule is not new and enforce since a very long time. I encountered the same in 2011.
This is not looting but pure ignorance. If you have typed these in google instead of typing in this forum, you would have got the solution.
