Also let me speak facts to you brother,
1. Agree this new VSG SC express looks like a crawler but it's still not introduced may be in final TT it may get a speed up.
2. Agree VSG TPTY is a crawler with lot of slack. I personally travelled in 2017 it was 2 hours late at UBL but arrived on time at TPTY.
3.

Goa express ok it needs a speed up in ET NZM ET section but SWR can't do anything about that WCR, NCR and NR have to agree to give a new slot.
4. VSG YPR express was a crawler before but got good speed ups in YPR UBL section when doubling was nearing completion and now it's among fastest trains on SBC LD SBC route.
5. Amaravati express average speed is on par with SF trains like Coromandel, Falaknuma, etc. in HWH BZA HWH section with scheduled overtakes over some SF trains too. The train is slow in GTL UBL LD section because of the route itself being freight heavy one and there aren't any trains massively faster than Amaravati there. GTL GNT it's slack can be reduced after doubling is completed.
6. VSG JSME and VSG VLNK have pretty respectable average speeds too for M/E category trains.
7. And MOST IMPORTNAT FACT these trains from Vasco to Kulem have 2 halts within 58kms on a line which is in doubling phase so you can't increase average speed here much. Next Kulem to Castle Rock is 26 kms Ghat section with 1 in 37 ruling gradient in a single line section with heavy freight traffic and 10 to 20 minutes halts required at both Kulem and Castle Rock for banker and braker loco attachments and detachments. And there is a rule regarding Ghat safety that a train descending Braganza Ghats has to stop at every station enroute for mandatory brake testing. Trains run slow on Vasco Londa route mostly because of Braganza Ghat section.
8. Now here is Vasco Patna SF it's among the fastest SF trains in KYN PNBE KYN section but a crawler in your favorite KRCL inspite of having limited halts. Now who has to be criticized for this SWR or KRCL for not giving a faster slot in MAO PNVL MAO section ?

All these are facts you can check for yourself in IRI itself incase you think I'm lying.

Agree
I've read your arguments and while they seem to hold some truth. Let me show you the bigger picture.

KR is a separate entity, agreed. But don't you know even zones seek each other's coordination to run their trains? Haven't you read about blah-blah zone rejected others proposal? KR is not some god-like entity. In the end RB is the ultimate authority in the real world.

SC-VSG is in fact a crawler. But something is better than nothing, isn't it. They're now getting an option of full length dedicated train. Why is it so bad? Get out in real world, even crawlers run on heavy WL. Or just read some discussions on this site itself, people are dying here for crawlers.

How come once you say zones can't even move a pen without RB's instructions. But in the very next post you blame the zone for not LHBfying it's own trains but rather LHBfying the KR ones? Do even you agree to yourself?

Let me tell you something, the economic shambles KR is in, even they'd have preferred freight movement if they owned the VSG-CLR route. And the profits from MPT's coal goes in fulfilling the freight revenue goals of the same RB you've been applauding since so long.

What premium trains are you expecting on an overtly congested ghat section which is not even electrified? Would you pay a premium to be overtaken by freights? Or have you not read the stories of SECR and the premiums passing it? Or are you expecting a Vande Bharat on a diesel route with some 30kmph MPS?

SWR for sure is an incompetent zone when it comes to Goa, but they've revenues to generate for the RB you look so highly to, within a route which is already slow and congested. And the KRCL you're so proud of, mostly runs trains for Mumbai, don't Goans need to go to other places than that?
