Hi...... I have a doubt..... Is it necessary that a super-fast train always get a WAP-4 in its electrified route? Can you name some trains that are super-fast; yet they get previous versions of WAP in their electrified routes?

Between ADI-BCT section many trains running wid WCAM series locos.
It doesn't mean it degrades trains prestige.

CCT-SNSI, BZA-SNSI, SC-PNBE sometimes get previous versions of engine because for CCT-SNSI, BZA-SNSI there a change of electrical engine to Disel Engine at SC For SC-PNBE there a change of electrical engine to Disel Engine at ET Junction
You are right. It all depends upon the availability of the locos in the loco or trip shed at that time ......... only many of we railfans have made locos as a prestige issue for IR trains ;-p
not necessary. depends on availability of locos. it will be given. many alternative wam are there to replace wap 4
