The Indian Railways has made arrangements for the influx of pilgrims visiting Deoghar during Shravan month. Several trains have been added with extra coaches to accommodate the surge in passengers. additional coaches will be operational from July 22nd to August 19th. This is done to ease congestion in the general compartments due to the restriction on waiting tickets in sleeper class during this period. The Railways has also taken other measures, such as adding more trains and extending service hours to handle the surge in travellers during the Shravan pilgrimage.
