service as a precaution. The railway general manager, Ramkaran Yadav, inspected the bridge and submitted a detailed report to the railway board. The Pune division of Central Railway has issued a press release indicating their intention to suspend services on the Miraj-Kolhapur rail route. Previously, in 2019 and 2021, heavy floods in the Kolhapur and Sangli districts caused significant damage to the Miraj-Kolhapur rail line, leading to a 15-day suspension of services. With the Panchganga River crossing the danger level due to the recent heavy rainfall, a similar situation is anticipated. Passengers have been advised to be aware of the possibility of service disruptions impacting approximately ten trains, including the Kolhapur-Tirupati, Kolhapur Maharashtra Express, Kolhapur Koyna Express, and Kolhapur Mahalaxmi Express, which might be affected. The railway department is taking precautions to avoid a repeat of the 2019 and 2021 incidents. After the previous floods, the railway department implemented 24-hour monitoring of the rail line.

Central Railway ke Pune division ne press release jaari karke Miraj-Kolhapur rail route par service band karne ki taiyari dikhayi hai. 2019 aur 2021 mein, Kolhapur aur Sangli district mein aaye mahaflood se Miraj-Kolhapur rail line ko nuksan hua tha, jiske wajah se 15 din tak train service band rahi thi. Haaal ki baarish ki wajah se Panchganga River danger level par pahunch gaya hai, jisse ek baar phir aisa hi halat hone ka andaza hai. Passengers ko bataya gaya hai ki Kolhapur-Tirupati, Kolhapur Maharashtra Express, Kolhapur Koyna Express, aur Kolhapur Mahalaxmi Express jaise 10 train par asar pad sakta hai aur service band ho sakti hai. Railway department 2019 aur 2021 ki ghatna ko repeat hone se rokne ke liye saavdhani barta rahi hai. Pehle ke flood ke baad, railway department ne rail line par 24 ghante ki monitoring shuru ki thi.
