The railway lines in some sections are not fit for high speed running of trains. I can't say how they have been cleared for high speed runs. I haven't travelled through many routes. But I have travelled through few routes. Like from Kharagpur to Tatanagar by Janshatabdi at speeds of 120 kmph. Trains in this section run so smooth that you can't know the speed until you check it by speedometer. But while travelling in some sections like between Garhwa Road and Mugasarai, by Rajdhani Express at 130 kmph, it is so rough travel that the coach is constantly bouncing in all direction violently, up - down, left - right, that few times I was literally thrown off my berth and was prevented from falling down by the side chains which hold the berth. Even CNI-ASN, ADRA-KGP feels so dam smooth. Whereas, 130 in HWH-KAN(HBC) often feels very shaky. KAN-ASN is slightly better though.
