Finally Railways is going to introduce Ranchi - Barbil train. However, it should go from Barbil to Ranchi in morning and return from Ranchi to Barbil at evening. Presently this train will run in reverse, means, it will go from Ranchi to Barbil in morning and return from Barbil to Ranchi at evening. But it is ok. Whatever be the timings, having at least one train is better than having no train at all. Related news link - click here
Maintenance will be made at Hatia CDO as there in no facility for maintenance at Barbil. But early departure from Barbil can be made post maintenance at Hatia and then return back to Barbil in the evening.
