will feature three platforms: two for suburban trains and one for express and mail trains. To further enhance connectivity, the CMDA is building a skywalk linking the station to the bus terminus, with construction underway and expected to be completed soon. The station itself will have minimal amenities, while the skywalk requires approval from the NHAI, which has been granted in principle, and land acquisition for its landing is nearing completion.

Chennai mein Kilambakkam mein ek naya halt railway station ban raha hai, jiska maqsad suburban bus terminus aur railway network ke beech connectivity ko behtar banana hai. Halt station mein teen platforms honge: do suburban trains ke liye aur ek express aur mail trains ke liye. Connectivity ko aur behtar banane ke liye, CMDA station ko bus terminus se jodne wala ek skywalk bana raha hai, jiska construction chal raha hai aur jaldi hi poora hone ki ummeed hai. Station mein khud minimum amenities honge, jabki skywalk ke liye NHAI se approval ki zaroorat hai, jo principle mein mil chuki hai, aur uske landing ke liye land acquisition poora hone wala hai.
