Great:LOL
Didn't expect a small silly language misunderstanding could bring such a commotion. The drama occured after Tatanagar where 2nd batch of breakfast was served. Aisle seat was occupied by a passenger from Ranchi and two occupied the middle and window seat from Tata.
2nd batch had two breakfast option:
1. Standard bread and butter
2. Poori and Alu dom aka Luchi
...
Alur dom in regional languages. (Rare option)
Catering staffs were serving based on the option choosen onboard by the TATA boarding passengers. The window passenger opted the bread and butter and the middle one took the Poori. Most passengers praised the smell of the Poori and Alu dum spread throughout the coach. Aisle and Middle passenger started their discussion about the regional food being better over the standard. They asked one catering member whether extra Luchi Alur dom were available. Middle passenger provided his complement when staffs arrived to collect their trays. After having their meals, Aisle and Middle were just engaged in few chit chats regarding the food.
Approx. 30 mins later the train crossed Kalaikunda. The window passenger, seemed senior citizen, all of a sudden stood up, accused both of his co-passengers of using slangs against him. The two hailing from different cities were completely shocked. They didn't even have a single word with the accuser and now they become accused out of nowhere. Nearby passengers including me tried to cool him down and explain the matter. He in is aggressive tone accused the two of repetitively calling him 'lucha'.
We tried to explain him. The two even though innocent asked for apologies to calm him. But to no avail, he denied acknowledging Luchi to be as Pooris. His tittle statement, "Ham salon se Begusarai mein business kiye hain. App hame sikhayoge gali kisko kehte hain kisko nehi?".
Train Managers' intervention too didn't yield any result. He had to call RPFs. Finally, after Kharagpur, the accuser was shifted to sit with staffs in C1 coach to avoid further inconvenience to other passengers. All of the rest in our coach had a small round of laugh.
Don't know as a nation when are we going to mature.

Agree
So ultimately the elder person indeed resorted to 'lucha' behaviour :P
