Union Finance Ministry se reply mila hai jisme kaha gaya hai ki project ki approval feasibility aur financial resources pe depend karegi. Ministry ne yeh bhi bataya hai ki Tamil Nadu government ne Coimbatore aur Madurai Metro projects ke liye sirf DPR submitted kiya hai, bina kisi Comprehensive Mobility Plan aur Alternative Analysis report ke. Wilson ne Centre ko Tamil Nadu ko neglect karne aur fair treatment nahin dene ke liye bhi aalocna ki hai, funds allocation ke matter mein.
