more... Several Hindi language competitions were held during the fortnight, including essay writing, note writing, drafting, and public speaking. Winners were awarded by the General Manager. Thirteen officers and 28 employees who demonstrated excellence in Hindi were also awarded. Six children from the railway schools in Kharagpur, Chakradharpur, and Adra who won essay writing and public speaking competitions were also recognized. The ceremony included a play titled “Pavitra Pehal” performed by the headquarters’ cultural team. The General Manager expressed the importance of the Indian Railways’ role in promoting Hindi, highlighting the benefits of employee participation in competitions and the role of the play in spreading awareness. The event was coordinated by Premchand Dang, the Deputy General Manager (Rajbhasha).
