The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has begun trial runs of the Namo Bharat trains on the 12-kilometer stretch between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar, marking a crucial step in the development of the high-speed Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor. Ashok Nagar in Delhi, includes vital stops at Anand Vihar and New Ashok Nagar, making it essential for commuters. The RRTS promises a faster commute, reducing travel time between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South to under 40 minutes. The trials involve assessing the compatibility of the trains with civil infrastructure, evaluating the integrated systems, and conducting high-speed tests. Anand Vihar RRTS station will be a major transit hub, offering interchanges with Delhi Metro lines, railway stations, and interstate bus terminals. New Ashok Nagar RRTS station is designed for easy access, connecting to the existing Metro station via a footbridge. The current 42-kilometer operational stretch between Sahibabad and Meerut South will be extended to 54 kilometers with the addition of New Ashok Nagar. Once the entire 82-kilometer Delhi-Meerut corridor is completed by June 2025, travel time between the two cities will be reduced to under an hour. The project is seen as a significant step towards modernizing transport infrastructure in the National Capital Region, easing congestion, reducing pollution, and providing a rapid transit system for millions of people.

Delhi ke New Ashok Nagar se connect karta hai, aur ismein Anand Vihar aur New Ashok Nagar jaise important stops bhi hain, jo commuters ke liye bahut important hain. RRTS fast commute ka promise karta hai, aur New Ashok Nagar aur Meerut South ke beech travel time 40 minutes se kam kar dega. Trials mein trains ki civil infrastructure se compatibility ka assessment, integrated systems ka evaluation aur high-speed tests bhi kiye jaa rahe hain. Anand Vihar RRTS station ek major transit hub banega, jahan se Delhi Metro lines, railway stations, aur interstate bus terminals se interchange ki ja sakegi. New Ashok Nagar RRTS station ko easy access ke liye design kiya gaya hai, aur yeh ek footbridge se existing Metro station se connect hoga. Sahibabad aur Meerut South ke beech chalne wali 42 kilometer ki current operational stretch ko New Ashok Nagar ko add karke 54 kilometer tak extend kiya jaayega. June 2025 tak puri 82-kilometer ki Delhi-Meerut corridor complete ho jaane ke baad, dono cities ke beech travel time ek ghanta se kam ho jaayega. Yeh project National Capital Region mein transport infrastructure ko modernize karne ke liye ek significant step hai, jisse congestion kam hoga, pollution reduce hoga, aur millions of people ko ek rapid transit system mil sakega.
