Unhone accident ke cause ka pata lagane ke liye ek probe bhi announce kiya. South Western Railways ne Bengaluru se chalne wali kai trains ko divert kiya, jisme Bengaluru-Kamakhya (Train No. 12551), Bengaluru-Danapur (Train No. 12295), aur Bengaluru-Guwahati (Train No. 12509) trains shamil hain. Diversion mein routes mein change, Tamil Nadu ke specific stations pe stoppage skip karna aur new stops add karna shamil tha.
